Hawaii Convention Center Announces Additions to Food and Beverage Department

HONOLULU

AEG Facilities, operator of the Hawaii Convention Center (HCC), is pleased to announce the addition of Cami Tanouye and Kristin Tait as catering sales managers in its Food and Beverage Department. Both will be responsible for planning catered events at the award-winning center.

Tanouye is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s School of Travel Industry Management with an emphasis in hospitality. Prior to her graduation, she held internships as an event planner with dreamcoach and fashion stylist Tiare Thomas and also as an activities coordinator at Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club, where she was recognized with the organization’s “Fundamentals of Hospitality Award.” Tanouye also received the American Hotel and Lodging Association’s honor as “Most Outstanding Member” for her industry achievements.

Tait is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) with bachelor’s degree in hotel administration with a major in meetings and events management. Most recently, she served as sales assistant at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort and an events assistant with Pacific Party Rentals. Prior to graduating, Tait held internships at HCC, The Kahala Hotel and Resort, Modern Weddings, and Gourmet Events Hawaii. She is also a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
