Kaiser Permanente Hawaii announced today that Lorenzo A. Henderson, JD, MPH, CHC, will be joining the integrated care organization as Regional Compliance Officer (RCO).  Henderson joins Kaiser Permanente Hawaii’s staff of more than 4,400 employees who provide comprehensive care to over 230,000 members in the state. 

Henderson has more than 13 years of experience in health care compliance, law, and management consulting and comes to Hawaii from Kaiser Permanente Southern California where he served as Director of Health Care Delivery Compliance, as well as Compliance Officer for the region’s remote care management subsidiary, KP OnCall, LLC.

Henderson is a graduate of the University of Michigan and was a recipient of a graduate fellowship while receiving his master’s degree in health policy and management at University of California, Los Angeles.  Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, he worked as an attorney for the state of Ohio reviewing, analyzing, and drafting health care legislation and regulation.  He assumes the position vacated by Jason Hall, who was recently promoted to Vice President of Strategy and Chief Administrative Officer.
